Sure they all go down but what receiver out there fixes it self? This is a great piece of work. Easy to setup and run, the menu is like that of bev and dish. Search menu up to 7 days. For the newbie..or the experienced this is a machine for you.
I love mine. So much i bought 4 more for family.
A+++

for the up time you can't beat it......... what i have found is that it is a little picky with switches and lnbs. the picture for me is just as good as my cs5k. don't get it for the pvr, this has been a problem for many. it doesn't work like most pvr units, it records to your computer and there isn't a way to playback through the nfusion.
i use rg6 co axe cable for all connections for it, and i use a cat6 ethernet patch cable for my internet connection. it is a good unit and i would buy it again.
i'm using a 36" 90cm hotdish with a sg2100 motor and a qph-031 lnbf i also have a fixed superdish hooked to it as well.
happy testing...........................

I have had 2 Coolsat 5000 receivers that have served me well over the years. When scrambling and regular searches for new bin files became an almost daily chore, I decided to give them a dignified burial.

I did lots of research and finally settled on NFusion Nova. I installed the unit, despite not being good at this, and I am very satisfied. It has been just over a week and I am getting used to adjusting minor problems (disconnecting and reconnecting the router and switching the receiver off from the back, etc.).

Once I am fully satisfied that it really fixes itself, or I learn all the little tricks to getting the receiver going, I plan to get a second unit.

Nfusion Nova - My first STB User rated 4/5

In August 2008 my friends convinced me to get back into the sat game (DTV user many years ago). I visited numerous sat/computer stores in my area and it was virtually unanimous, they were all recommending Nfusion.

Since August, I am so happy with my decision. You are connected to the internet (Nfusion server) 24/7 but it's secure and overseas, no worries. I know other receivers do load bins, but with the Nfusion, via the network, most fixes are automatic and seamless. There are times when a major file comes out and you have the option of downloading from the server using your Nfusion remote control (extremely easy). If you don't want to wait for it to hit the server, you can access the stb via the web through your PC and download the file you picked up on a forum. Again very easy. Everyone knows now that Nfusion is the only stb that is working with bev, over 200 channels but no ppv, but still pretty good. No other receiver can say that. It probably deserves a 5 but I will wait until DN changes over and see how Nfusion handles it.

Wereas I had some problems connecting to the IKS server I still give this receiver a score of (AAA+) overall.

The unit has good picture quality, pretty easy setup average in cost. The "GUI" is nice and easy to uses with the "Remote Control" The major problems I see are that the unit doesnot come with any (USB Support), or (USB) for extrenal Hard Drives using the PVR Functions.

The unit is also slow when changing channels, or changing satellites. But over all very nice to the end-user, a newbie might have problems because of the simple fact their is a loss of information posted about this unit today on the forums.

I would not recommend this as a first buy "FTA" Unit any "Newbie" might want to strt out with something else to start off with. I would recommend a low cost vs unit to begin with, and this as a second receiver.
But in the end I would recommend this unit to anyone that would like to upgrade their FTA units todays, and in the near future. as we all know whats around the corner, and what happens to the prices after a major ECM blackout.

So in the end-if you have some type of internet connection (Not dial-up) I would recommend you buy one of the NFusion units before the n3 change over, as you may not be able to fined one afterwards, but on (flea-bay) and by then the maket will be filled with clones.
I have also written a in-depth review of this unit posted at FTA TALK.COM if you would like to read it in full here's the link:\

Bought nFusion HD + 2 other units. Had the HD & 1 other unit set up with wireless to get automatic updates through my modem; the last unit is hard wired to my modem. I've lost all signals to all units except Angel 1 on my HD unit. I was told I'd get ALL automatic updates for all units when I had them installed. My supposedly dealer offers NO help, lives about 150 mi. away. Is there any help out there? When they were 1st setup, they were the greatest since sliced bread! Now what?
Help please.
