I got my CS600 few month ago brand new. did not know like other people it is was old model and was hoping I will get a year or two from it, but CS has other plan. It seems to me they do not know the market their name is in the line. for sure I am not going to buy an other CS even the majical model they haven't made.

I will not even think about buying any of CoolSat products just because of their way of tricking us. You see it takes months to make a customer and it takes few seconds to loose one. They lost my trust.. end of it.. any other brand but CoolSat

if you own a cs6000,cs5000,cs4000 it takes 2 weeks to get a fix. i say get a 6100 or above the fix is there with in 1 to 3 days

Avoid Coolsat User rated 1/5

Being a newbie I purchased a new Coolsat 5K last summer (2007) - found it easy to set up and operate but Coolsat shafted owners of 4k, 5k and 6000 models by dropping support several months ago - would never recommend a company that shafts its customers - apparently offered a $25 rebate if you wanted to trade in older Coolsats to purchase a newer model - hell will freeze over before I ever purchase another coolsat - have moved to Viewsat - a very reliable product and there are many others on the market - stay away from COOLSAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bought a cs6000 last week, the night before it arrives in the mail i discover that coolsat has completely dropped support for the box. Then they have the audacity to offer a 6100 to 6000 owners for another $79. I would sooner take 4 $20s and burn them than give it two this company. Also, coolsat is being pressured to release the names of purchasers of coolsat stbs.

STAY AWAY.
